Paul A. Brown, M.D. – Independent Director to the Board
Following graduation from Harvard College and Tufts University School of Medicine Dr. Brown received his pathology training at Tufts University School of Medicine and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. Prior to serving two years as Chief of Pathology at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital he founded MetPath where he served as Chairman and CEO. Twelve years later the company was acquired by Corning for $140m and became Quest Diagnostics Inc. Quest (NYSE: DGX; $9B market capitalization) is one, if not the largest blood processing laboratories in the world.
Shortly thereafter he founded HEARx, now a pre-eminent provider of Hearing care where he also served as Chairman. Siemens AG recently acquired HEARx for $130m and changed the name to HearUSA for the more than 200 company owned centers. During his career Dr. Brown has been a Member of the Board of Trustees of Tufts University, a member of the Visiting Committees at Boston University School of Medicine and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Currently Dr. Brown is on the Advisory Board of Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Lifelong Learning Society.
John A. Bobango – Independent Director to the Board
John is the managing partner of FARRIS BOBANGO PLC, with firms in both Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee hosting a total of over forty attorneys. Mr. Bobango's practice concentrates in the areas of securities, venture capital, technologies, health care, real estate, commercial and structured transactions, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, business formation, and government relations. Mr. Bobango has significant experience with a variety of financing structures, including private securities offering (both debt and equity transactions), mergers and acquisitions, and mortgage-related debt financings. He also represents numerous early and later stage companies. Mr. Bobango served on the Memphis City Council from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Bobango formerly served as chairman of the Joint City and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency. Mr. Bobango is a member of the Memphis, Arkansas, Tennessee and American Bar Associations and the Florida Bar. He has been a frequent lecturer on securities, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital related issues. Twelve attorneys with Farris Bobango PLC were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers of America 2013.
Eric Cherry – Independent Director to the Board
The outcry for real time notification of results from horse races prompted Eric Cherry to create a result. In 1989 Champion Communications was developed (ICN. Ltd.), and has grown today to be a nationwide leader in telecommunications. With a proven record leading the way with 900 numbers, text messaging, billing by telephone, creating new technologies, new capabilities, and new opportunities along the way. Champion then expanded its horizons and became a service bureau for other companies, completing and providing programs for clients such as the State of New York, OTB, Yahoo, Telemundo, Carolina Power & Light, New York Racing Association, CITGO, Pennzoil, McDonalds, Department of Justice…Champion Communications became and remains to this day the largest information service bureau and “900” provider in the United States.
Donnie Frizzell - Independent Director to the Board
Donnie is known within the concert promotion industry as "The Southern Promoter". Growing up in the family of the famous rock band "Black Oak Arkansas", Mr. Frizzell has not missed a beat since. Promoting such greats as; KISS, the Eagles, Lynrd Skynyrd, Ringo Starr, Janet Jackson, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Journey... promoting events, and strategically placing major sponsors for World Tours along with booking top stadiums worldwide. Donnie Frizzell is recognized as being in the top tier of the industry. Ownership and partnership with; Modern Music Services, Pizza Hut Park, Soccer Stadium Alliance, Hunt Sports Group... Donnie Frizzell knows business, and promotes it well. Maybe placement of A-league players in the world of business has been his greatest accomplishment, and secret to the many successful events and mergers. Modern Music Services, LLC expanded its live booking division by creating and lifting what is now known as the SOCCER STADIUM ALLIANCE. This is includes (8) MLS Stadiums with (7) US cities and (1) Canadian Providence. The cites are Columbus, OH, Denver, CO, Frisco, TX, Kansas City, KS,Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Rochester, NY & Vancouver, BC. Donnie Frizzell is responsible for the inaugural years - Jason ldean, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Journey, Pat Benatar, plus many more. Combing the fan base of Soccer fans, with these fantastic venues that host the top matches in the USA. Along with the top names in the live touring business, has proved to be an ever growing model of expansion in live entertainment, and recently expanding their reach on the FMX world as well as becoming the largest EDM night clubs on the North American continent.
Kevin G. Knaus – Chief Operating Officer
Kevin was president of Crayon Interface, a wireless technology and service provider enabling remote monitor and control of the vehicle, home and workplace environments which partnered and later sold to Ingersoll Rand. Crayon Interface, Inc. offers mobile software platforms and service solutions to companies serving consumer and enterprise markets. It offers Moshi platform, which enables mobile devices and PC’s to locate, monitor, and control other devices in home, vehicle, and workplace environments. The company was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Holland, Michigan.
Ingersoll Rand(IR), a $13billion global supplier to transportation, manufacturing, construction, and agricultural industries, acquired Crayon Interface's Connected Home Services (CHS) Platform in a move to expand IR’s presence in the Connected Home space. Kevin has served as International President to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Kevin brings a long list of talents, knowledge, and experience within the technology world, to M2 Interactive.
Tommy Kee – Chief Financial Officer
Tommy serves as CFO of M2 Interactive as well as Attitude Drinks Incorporated, both located in the West Palm Beach, Florida metropolitan area. He graduated with an MBA from the University of Memphis and a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee. Previously he served as CFO, Corporate Controller and Treasurer in mostly public companies ranging from small companies to large multi-billion dollar international companies. Such companies were Allied Interstate, Inc. and HeaRx Ltd. now called Hear USA (both located in the West Palm Beach, Florida areas) and Holiday Inns International, mainly in the corporate headquarters previously located in Memphis, Tennessee
Christopher L. Cabell – Chief Technology Officer
Chris Cabell is an entrepreneur and innovative technology architect with 15+ years of software development experience. Thrives in dynamic environments while remaining pragmatic and focused to achieve measurable goals. Chris is a strategic thinker who is adept at understanding business objectives, and providing tools / methodologies / thought leadership necessary to realize goals through strategic IT planning, IT governance, project management, eBusiness and sourcing initiatives. Chris excels at taking complex technology from concept to implementation. Experienced at creating and managing high performance software development teams both on-shore and off-shore. Chris is able to provide a “Swiss army knife” of niche technology development by utilizing an existing network of highly skilled developers and designers
Jack R. Mesa – Chief Marketing Officer
Jack started his mass communications career in the mid 80's as programming analyst for I-95 FM WINZ-FM, Paxson Communications (now Clear Channel Media & Entertainment). He served as traffic director (WLVE, WINZ AM, WINZ FM), producer and ultimately the retail promotions director known as Zeta 94.9's personality "Cap'n Jack". He created and produced syndicated cable show "Rock Music Television" (RMT) in collaboration with Paxson Communication stations. Mesa joined the marketing force for Caterpillar (Latin American/Caribbean Division) and Assurant Group (NYSE: AIZ). In the late 90's Jack started Apex Wordout Internet Marketing Inc., one of the first web design consulting firms in Miami, later becoming the advertising and media relations director for the ad agency Miami Research Marketing & Advertising, LLC. Mr. Mesa studied mass communications in Pasadena City College and Miami-Dade Community College. Jack is a graduate of Connecticut School of Broadcasting and is a Microsoft Certified Web Developer. Advanced skills include Video and Radio Productions, Web Design, Media Planning/Buying, Graphic Design, Event Planning as well as Musical Talent Management.
Simone Devai – Executive Vice President
Simone always presents a high level of energy, fiscally conscious, and goal-driven executive has over 15 years of experience in progressively responsible leadership, administration, financing, and management. Simone has the ability to build relationships and make connections between people, creating partnerships and alliances, and motivating forward momentum to get things done. She has proven to be a skilled executive, visionary entrepreneur, a resourceful trouble-shooter and turnaround expert. Simone approaches each new business challenge with her natural talent for innovation, creative problem solving, and measured risk-taking to drive bottom-line improvements. With her back ground in Accounting and Business, Simone owned and managed her own Company for over ten years where she developed many of her skills. Simone Devai holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration.
